My pedagogy is grounded in learning and reasoning through play, as it offers agency in the generative meaning-making of history and culture. Art serves as a mirror and a window for developing self-identity and empathy, disrupting hierarchies and conventions to cultivate social consciousness. Engaging with art together unearths the pluralism of experience and fosters sensitive, critical, and creative thinking. With a focus on equity, I implement anti-racist, anti-ableist, and trauma-informed teaching strategies to promote brave spaces of belonging and curiosity.

I am currently a museum educator for the MFA Boston, a gallery teacher for the ICA Boston, and an after-school teacher for Somerville Public Schools.
